«En los últimos años en España, y más concretamente en Catalunya, la cría de conejos se ha visto muy afectada por la crisis y muchas granjas han cerrado durante los últimos 5 años.
Varias veces nos hemos descubierto vigilando posibles objetivos, que al acercarnos para ver la seguridad del centro, estaban abandonadas.
Del mismo modo también podemos comprobar que las acciones por la Liberación Animal han descendido en el Estado Español desde que comenzó dicha crisis. Esto probablemente se deba a la falta de recursos de las personas que tomamos parte en esta lucha, como también la migración hacia otras luchas por parte de mucha gente.
Pero el 20 de Septiembre de 2015 salimos de nuestro temporal letargo y esa noche nos dirigimos a una granja de conejos situada en la provincia de Barcelona y liberamos a 20 animales de los que había en ella.
En esta acción fueron 20, pero esperamos que vengan más acciones, de las cuales podamos liberar a muchos más y hacer daño a esta industria asesina. Creemos que éste es un momento perfecto para asestar golpes para hacer caer de una vez una industria que sobrevive a duras penas desde hace varios años.
Somos conscientes que esto depende de nuestra capacidad organizativa y nuestra determinación, pero como ha ocurrido en otros lugares donde se han puesto en marcha efectivas campañas, podremos cerrar las pocas granjas que actualmente quedan.
Dedicamos esta acción a las anarquistas que han sido reprimidas por las operaciones “Pandora”, “Piñata”, así como a las presas acusadas de pertenecer al “Comando Mateo Morral”.
También mandamos un caluroso abrazo a Evi Statiri, quien en el momento de escribir estas líneas, ha finalizado su huelga de hambre debido a que las autoridades griegas han aceptado su excarcelación.
